Christmas Angel Tree is a Big Hit

CMC Group employees participated once again in one of their most beloved Christmas traditions. The Angel Tree program blesses children with gifts whose parents cannot afford them. "It's a wonderful opportunity to help my own co-workers have a Merry Christmas with their families," says one employee. Employees donated over $2,500 in order to help fellow CMC families, as well as other local children in town. In total, over 85 children were shopped for. Wish lists and cash were passed out to those wishing to participate in the shopping. Some employees even used their own money. "I don't know who receives the bigger blessing; those of us doing the shopping, or those receiving the gifts!"

CMC Families Tailgate at BGSU Homecoming

The cold and rainy weather didn’t stop CMC Group employees and their families from coming out to the BGSU football game. CMC took part in the Homecoming festivities by sponsoring a tailgate party prior to the game with chili, nachos, and warm apple cider, plus face painting, a photo booth, raffle prizes and a corn hole tournament. “It’s safe to say that a good time was had by all,” says Kim Bigelow. “I always enjoy spending time with my co-workers outside of work.” Each person in attendance also received a ticket into the football game. BGSU beat the University of Buffalo, 36-35.
