Kathy Louk Celebrates 25 Years with Century Marketing

Kathy Louk celebrated her 25th anniversary with Century Marketing on May 30, 2009. In her 25 years with the company, Kathy has served in a variety of positions. She started her career as a production employee in rewind, then moved to shipping before becoming the production manager’s assistant. Kathy then moved on to become a team leader and spent many years as the supervisor of the production facility. Now working with a smaller group of people as the supervisor of the finishing, shipping, receiving, and sheet press areas of production, Kathy spends most of her time managing workflow and personnel requests and fills in wherever extra help is needed.

Some of Kathy’s fondest memories of her time at Century Marketing include meeting good friends and attending team-building events like company picnics and volleyball tournaments. Kathy remarks that her favorite things about Century Marketing have been “the little things we’ve done together as a family.” Having experienced a great deal in her 25 year career here, Kathy would pass on these words of advice to new employees: “Learn as much as you can, don’t be afraid to try new things, and keep an open mind about your position. The more you know,
the more helpful it is going down the road here with your career.”

Outside of work, Kathy enjoys traveling and is an avid camper. She and her husband of nearly 35 years make a trip to the Caribbean every spring and camp whenever they can. Kathy has two adult children, two grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and a 14-year-old Malamute. She dreams of retiring some day with the ability to travel more often.
