Jane Treen Retires after 25 Years with CMC Group

Jane Treen retired from CMC Group in April 2010 after over 25 years of service. Jane began her career with CMC Group in the Credit and Collections area of the Accounting department. She then moved into the Customer Service department for a brief period of time before returning to Credit and Collections. Jane was responsible for calling customers to collect on accounts and she worked closely with the Customer Care department to sort out problems with customer invoices.

In her 25 years with CMC Group, one of Jane’s favorite things about her job was the camaraderie within the company. She enjoyed her relationships with other employees almost as much as she enjoyed working with customers. Jane says that in order to work out problems with invoices, it is important to empathize with customers and listen to them.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys fishing and spending time with her husband, sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. If asked to give advice to a new employee at CMC Group, Jane would tell them to think twice if they’re considering leaving. “The grass is not always greener,” she says with a smile.
