Terry Corcoran Celebrates 15 Years with DayMark Safety Systems

Terry CorcoranOn June 27, 2009, Terry Corcoran celebrated his 15th anniversary with DayMark Safety Systems. Terry began his career at DayMark in 1994 as a National Accounts Manager and later worked in distribution management prior to moving into work with DayMark’s international clients and markets. Terry is now the Director of Key Markets at DayMark, continuing his work with international business as well as grocery, bakery, and convenience store (G.B.C.) markets. Terry’s responsibilities include traveling, planning, making contacts, building relationships, and researching ways to build and develop markets.

When he looks back on his favorite experiences in his career at DayMark, Terry recalls the many office moves he and the rest of the company have made in the last 15 years – each move being the result of out-growing the previous space. DayMark, which started as a sales division of Century Marketing, has grown from occupying a small space in Century’s building to having its own building, workforce, and production facility. Terry, who has been a part of the DayMark team during much of the company’s growth, looks back fondly on how far the company has come.

In his free time, Terry enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and son. His family has two pets: a Bichon Frise and a quarter horse. Terry also enjoys flying and has a fascination with interesting aircrafts. He hopes to someday retire and drive through the U.S. countryside in a Corvette with his wife, visiting Yellowstone, the Redwood Forest, and Sequoia National Park. If asked to share some words of wisdom with a new employee at DayMark, Terry would advise to be serious about what you hope to achieve, but have fun while you’re doing it. He would also tell a new employee that managers are willing to listen. He says, “We’re a family here and every employee is important.”
