Robert Petrie, VP of Wholesale Markets and Head of Century Wholesale

Robert Petrie is the Vice President of Wholesale Markets and the head of Century Wholesale. Mr. Petrie has served in many roles in his 20 years of working within CMC Group, Inc., including Purchasing Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Operations, and Vice President and General Manager. Having been instrumental in the formation of the wholesale division, Mr. Petrie became Vice President of Wholesale Markets in 2005.

As head of Century Wholesale, Mr. Petrie’s primary objective is to strategize with distributors to help grow their businesses. To aide in achieving this goal, Century Wholesale launched its first e-commerce solution for distributors in 2006, enabling distributors to sell products on the web. Mr. Petrie was also a pioneer in the purchase of Century Marketing’s first digital press (HP Indigo), leading to a successful digital printing program which provides both distributors and direct customers with short runs of digital labels. Under Mr. Petrie’s leadership, Century Wholesale’s business has doubled every year since its inception.

In addition to business pursuits, Mr. Petrie is an active community volunteer. He participates on the pastoral council of his church, he coaches baseball, and he is often involved in mission work. In his free time, he enjoys golf and physical conditioning. Mr. Petrie is a graduate of the University of Toledo, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. A family man, he has been married to his wife for 18 years and has three children.
