Jeff Palmer is the President of DayMark Safety Systems and the President of CMC Group. He has worked for DayMark and Century Marketing for over 23 years. Prior to becoming President of DayMark in 2006, Mr. Palmer also served as Maintenance Manager of Century Marketing, Production Manager of Century Marketing and DayMark, Division Manager of CenTek International, Division Manager of DayMark, and Vice President and General Manager of DayMark.
Trained initially in engineering and maintenance, Mr. Palmer began his career with CMC Group in 1988 as Maintenance Manager of Century Marketing. Mr. Palmer established a preventative maintenance program and engineered and managed the construction of two new buildings as Maintenance Manager. In 1992, after much success as Maintenance Manager, Mr. Palmer became Production Manager for both DayMark and Century Marketing. He gained experience building Century Marketing’s International Division and was responsible for its distribution network in Latin America.
When DayMark’s products began to take hold in the market, Mr. Palmer was charged with refocusing the company’s growth and profitability. He became General Manager of DayMark in 1999, a company of 140 employees that has experienced 900% growth under his leadership. Much of this success was due to the introduction of the Dissolve-A-Way® label technology. As an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2002, Mr. Palmer and his team continue to develop new innovative products that separate DayMark from their aggressive competition in the foodservice industry.
Mr. Palmer is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology and a member of the International Food Service Manufacturing Association. He maintains however that his greatest accomplishment is his family. Mr. Palmer and his wife have two daughters. They live in Bowling Green, Ohio, where they raise horses and are actively involved in their church.
