CEO Al Caperna and President Craig Dixon Visit Israel

CMC Group CEO Al Caperna and President Craig Dixon traveled to Israel this May in order to participate in meetings with Hewlett Packard and Timestrip® and to visit with Impact World Tour, a nonprofit organization CMC Group supports. Their visit coincided with the 60th anniversary of Israel’s independence, creating a set of rich cultural experiences to accompany Mr. Caperna and Mr. Dixon’s business ventures.

One of the primary purposes of the trip to Israel was to visit the Hewlett Packard plant where Century Marketing’s HP Indigo digital press was manufactured. This meeting provided Mr. Caperna and Mr. Dixon with an opportunity to discuss ways in which the company’s digital printing technology can be better utilized and to view new printing equipment currently in development.

In addition to meeting with HP Indigo, Mr. Caperna and Mr. Dixon met with executives from Timestrip®, makers of a label technology that indicates elapsed time. CMC Group is the U.S. distributor of Timestrip® labels.

The visit to Israel also afforded Mr. Caperna and Mr. Dixon the opportunity to participate in a leadership training conference in Jerusalem with Impact World Tour, a division of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). One of the highlights of the visit with Impact World Tour was the opportunity to attend the Call to All, a communion of 227 countries on the day of Pentecost. Impact World Tour is one of the nonprofit organizations regularly supported by CMC Group.

Mr. Caperna and Mr. Dixon were in Israel May 6 through May 17. On May 7, Israel observed a nationwide moment of silence in honor of the Day of Remembrance. This day was followed by Israel’s 60th Independence Day. Although Israel is still a war-torn nation, Mr. Dixon noted the amount of peace and patriotism demonstrated on this historic day.
